Temperature meters operating in the infrared allow to determine the surface temperature of an object. The optical system of the instrument detects the emitted, reflected and transmitted energy that is accumulated and concentrated in the detector. The instrument electronics converts this information to the temperature value then displayed on the meter display. To guide the measurement, the instruments carry the laser pointer.
The most important characteristics of the instruments:
precise non-contact temperature measurement,
temperature measurement with type K probe,
modern shell construction,
Automatic Data Hold function (hold of displayed measurement data),
automatic power disconnection,
° C / ° F unit selector,
digitally adjusted emissivity coefficient in the range 0.10 to 1.00,
maximum, minimum, average and differential temperature display,
backlit liquid crystal display,
automatic range selection,
resolution 0.1 ° C (0.1 ° F),
measurement lock,
alarm for high and low temperature values,
fast reaction to temperature changes (below 150ms),
double laser pointer,
data log (LOG) for 100 tests,
data transfer to computer via USB.
